We are House of Soul, a soulful salon in the heart of Fulwood.

We offer a wide range of bespoke treatments from facials and massages, to manicures and pedicures, waxing and eye treatments.

Our ethos is to provide a holistic and natural service matched to each individual client in a calm and restorative atmosphere.

All our therapists are relaxed, friendly and approachable, aiming to put you at ease from booking the appointment through to leaving the salon feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Meet The Team

Gemma - Owner

Jo

Gemma has 14 years experience within the beauty industry. She is trained in Dermalogica, Spa Find, Ila, Natura Bisse, Temple Spa, Caudalie and Neal's Yard Remedies.

Gemma has worked in many exclusive spas, gaining a vast experience of holistic techniques. This includes a five star spa in Greece where Gemma learned unique and alternative massage styles.

Gemma's passion lies with holistic treatments; she believes in treating the whole person - mind, body and soul.

Gemma specialises in holistic massage and facials, as well as having advanced knowledge of electrical facials.

"When I'm not busy running the business, you'll find me outdoors, camping, paddle boarding, hiking, swimming, surfing and eating out.

Jo has been qualified as a beauty therapist for over 15 years. Working as the Head Therapist and in-house trainer of a busy award winning spa for numerous years, ensured that Jo developed the skill to perform treatments tailored to your individual needs. Jo has worked with various brands such as Dermalogica, Ila, Natura Bisse and Temple Spa along with the nail brand Opi and Jessica. Jo is trained in various holistic treatments such as lava shell massage, crystal healing and Reflexology. Jo’s personality makes you feel calm and at ease instantly and along with her blissful treatments you will be leave feeling extremely relaxed.

Chloe

Chloe has worked within the beauty industry for more than 15 years. She has completed advanced training with Caudalie, Jessica, Fake Bake, NSI, Youngs Nails, Bare Minerals, Crystal Clear, Dermalogica and CACI. Chloe is also trained in HD brows.

Chloe specialises in acrylic nails, BIAB and Gels as well as waxing, intimate waxing and lash lifts.

Chloe has an artistic and imaginative flair for nail art, and works with both acrylic and gel to create the perfect style for you.

Chloe is passionate about giving her clients the best salon experience, leaving her clients feeling brand new.

"When I'm not busy spending time with my not-so-little family, you'll find me out walking the dogs, eating out or doing yoga."

Lorna

Lorna has been qualified in International Spa Management for 16 years and has a wealth of experience managing 4-5* spas in the South of France, London & the Midlands.
Lorna is passionate about holistic wellness and specialises in a range of facial treatments and massage techniques from deep-tissue, aromatherapy and hot stones. Lorna is trained in Elemis, ESPA, Clarins, Barbor and Germaine de Cappuccini.

"If I'm not being a busy mum, you can find me trail running in the middle of nowhere or in the gym lifting weights".

Libby

Libby has over two and a half years of experience in the beauty industry and is fully qualified, having completed her Level 2 Beauty Therapy course. She is currently progressing in her Level 3 Beauty Therapy Apprenticeship at House of Soul, further expanding her skills and expertise.

Trained in Gel/BIAB, manicures and pedicures, waxing, massage, and facials, Libby has also gained additional qualifications in Hot Stone Massage, Microdermabrasion, and Spray Tanning. While she enjoys doing nails and connecting with clients, her true passion lies in the holistic side of beauty therapy. Whether delivering a deeply relaxing facial or an invigorating massage, she is dedicated to creating a calming and uplifting experience for every client.

Outside of work, Libby loves spending time with friends, planning her next trip, and indulging in some well-deserved self-care—whether that means pampering herself or enjoying a cozy night in with a good film.
